Menopause always had suffered from limited data, educational resources, and inadequate teaching in medical schools. Therefore, to address this gap, we have decided to create an interactive educational dashboard for users.
MenoPond is an interactive informational dashboard designed to educate middle school students about Menopause. Additionally, it serves as an educational tool for educators to incorporate into their classes for teaching students about Menopause. Our product utilizes an interactive storytelling method to engage students in the complexities of this topic.
Through interviewing our family, friends, and professionals in this field, we discovered a scarcity of information on Menopause. Furthermore, the stigma and misinformation surrounding this topic in female reproductive health has made it a “taboo.” Our parents or loved ones could be experiencing this alone and feel ashamed of sharing it with others.
How might we create awareness as early as possible to remove this stigma and taboo labels associated with Menopause?
To address this problem, we created MenoPond as an educational tool for middle school students, educators, and parents. We aim to inform and destigmatize by introducing the topic to children in their teenage, thereby normalizing these conversations.

Middle School Students
MenoPond is aiming mainly at middle school students to introduce this topic early to normalize these topics around Menopause.
